Beech Mountain Resort Reviews

We had a really disappointing experience when we visited. The staff seemed annoyed anytime we asked even a simple question, and it felt like nobody really wanted to help us. It made the whole trip feel way more stressful than fun... which was frustrating. I don’t think we’d come back anytime soon.

We were hoping there’d be more for the kids to enjoy, but it ended up feeling dull and not very welcoming. The whole place felt more crowded and stressful than fun, which made the day kind of disappointing. For a family trip, I’d say this one is avoidable.

I had a good time overall!!! It’s fun and worth checking out, but the costs start adding up fast!!! Decent value, just maybe keep an eye on what you’re spending!!!

Stopped in for lunch and a drink while we were at Beech Mountain. The food was fine overall, just not really memorable. The fries were probably the best part, hot, crispy, and salted well — but the burger was a little dry, especially around the edges of the patty. I kept noticing the bun was slightly too thick for it too, which made it feel even drier. Prices felt a bit high for what we got, though I know that’s kind of expected at a resort. The staff was nice, just clearly busy and moving fast. I’d eat there again if I needed something convenient, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

The rental gear I got really wasn’t in great shape. The boots felt worn out, the skis looked beat up, and it didn’t seem like anything had been checked over very well. I ended up wasting more time dealing with the equipment than actually enjoying the mountain, which felt totally unnecessary for a paid rental. Disappointing overall...

Spent the day at Beech Mountain Resort and I was actually kinda surprised how clean it was. The bathrooms wasn’t gross, floors looked like they get taken care of, and the trash cans weren’t all overflowing like I’ve seen at other places.
The lifts, lodge, and common areas all felt cared for too. Nothing really looked run down to me, which made the whole day feel more easy and relaxing.

I was kind of let down. Most of the trails felt either super easy or suddenly way too steep, without much in between. After a few runs, it all started feeling similar. Just wasn’t the variety I was hoping for.

The lifts ran good overall. Lines got long here and there, but they usually kept moving, so it wasn’t too bad. I’m always a little suspicious when places make everything sound perfect in their official wording, but the actual experience was decent

Ski school was kind of a mess. The lesson started late, which already threw things off... and then the instructor barely helped us once we got going. I kept waiting for more guidance, but it just didn’t really happen.

I still had a good time overall, but the conditions were a little hit or miss. Some areas had decent snow, while other runs got icy and thin quickly. It felt like some of the rough spots were avoidable with better upkeep, so I was a bit disappointed. Not a bad day, just expected the slopes to be in better shape...

Parking was kind of a mess and the signs weren’t very clear, so we ended up driving around longer than we expected and by the time we finally figured out where to go and made it into the resort it already felt like we’d wasted way too much time just trying to get inside.
